Send any file
to anyone,
completely free.
Drop a file, get a link, share it. It goes straight from your device to theirs, encrypted, in real time, with no account, no server, no cost.
🔒 Files stream encrypted, device to device · Never stored on a server
Built different. Actually free.
Files never touch our servers. That is why there is no size limit, no subscription, and no catch.
End-to-End Encrypted
Every transfer uses WebRTC's mandatory DTLS-SRTP encryption. Nobody can read your files in transit, including us.
No Upload Wait
Files stream instantly from your device. The receiver starts downloading the moment they connect, no waiting for an upload to finish first.
No Size Limit
WeTransfer caps free transfers at 2 GB. We cap nothing. Send a 4K video, a full project folder, or a 50 GB archive, all free.
Any Device
Phone to laptop, iPhone to Android, Mac to Windows. Any combination. Any modern browser. No app download required.
No Account Ever
No sign-up, no email, no password, ever. Open the page, pick your file, share the link. Privacy is built into the architecture.
Always Free
No bandwidth bill means no pricing tiers. We cover our tiny infrastructure cost through display ads on the page. It will always be free.

Common questions
Correct. There is no limit on our end. The only practical ceiling is your internet upload speed and how long both devices stay connected and awake. Files of 50 GB and above have been transferred successfully.
Yes. Files travel directly between the two devices using WebRTC with DTLS end-to-end encryption. The file never passes through or gets stored on our servers. We are technically unable to see the file contents.
Because the file streams live from the sender's device, not from a server. If the sender closes their tab, the stream has no source and stops. This is the trade-off that makes the service free, private, and unlimited in size.
Chrome (recommended), Edge, Firefox, and Safari on any device. iPhone to Android, Mac to Windows, tablet to desktop, all combinations work. No app or plug-in required.
